Upgrade!

So life has been insane this year and a half ive been in WA so insane of lost some of my hair! No joke!! But anyway this is a quick post. Just happy about it haha At work we just upgraded to dual monitors which will make my life sooo much easier! It was about time! =)

Im starting to shift my life again! for the better!

So as you know, i havent played a show in a long time. Ive been going through lots of musical bumps in the road and been pretty bummed about the constant troubles like having to move out to a new place after getting rid of two of our band members. This cost 2,250 between 3 of us for the new house for 1st months rent and deposit. I've been paying $416 for rent compared to my $150 i was paying in the previous house. It's a big downer but we finally have our bassist moving in which will bring down rent by $102 each since he will start paying rent as of next month, AND hopefully as soon as our guitarist chad gets a job he can pitch in as well which would bring things down to $250 each which would be GLORIOUS!

Anyhow, for as long as i can remember sionce things started going down hill i've been waking up just in time to go to work and coming home after work almost directly to sleep! Major waste of a day! So i've come to the conclusion that i must wake up by 9am at the latest to start my day and get shit DONE!!! As well as staying up late atleast up to 1 or 2am to get things done as well. By get things done i mean, band practice everyday with sarah's project as well as with reverse the tides. This also includes, working out at the gym, playing soccer, editing music for the band im recording, working on new merch desings and ideas, craiglisting singers, setting up an itunes store for sarah, selling the presale tickets for our show may 15th(sarah's show w/ me drumming) and many other things.

As you can see i hardly have time to breathe!! I'm always soo busy, never a doll moment in my life. Can't remember the last time i was bored which in fact is a GREAT thing but SHIT SON!! it gets tiring you know?

Anyhow, i love my life but its a very intense one. I can't wait to make music my only source of income. Playing shows, producing records for bands, doing live sound, making merch, building drumsets. The possibilities are endless(not really but you know what i mean)!! It's very exciting but it's a LOT of work! Reguardless. It's a great thing! =) Very excited about it. =) Excited to get MORE things done in one day! =) I have such a long to do list but i've narrowed things down to doing 1 thing a day so im not overwhelmed =)

Someday, i will be playing shows like this(picture)! I'm very excited about it!

I used to hate work now i love it... weird

hahaha ok so it was never THAT bad to the point where i HATED it but we started a new account with very little training and we thrown on the phones to take live calls with live customers in a week of training which consisted of maybe 4 hrs a week of traning for 4 days.... Now in headquarters for the new account, new employees get 2 weeks of book training and 2 weeks of job shadowing which consists of listening to other live rep's calls while they take live calls(y-jacking). This gives you a feel of the calls at a better perspective and allows you to learn shortcuts and better techniques that other reps have developed. Well, we didnt get any of that haha. So long story short( i take it back, i did hate it) i hated with a passion the first week we had on it. Specialyl becaue we had so many programs to run at the same time and i had no idea how to do any of it really.

So anyhow, i ended up getting pretty good at this account now and things are going good. Calls dont come in too often and things are going pretty smooth. =) Now i chill more than anything and im pretty confident when a call comes in. Anyhjow yeah... new account is cool and i dont hate my job anymore haha =)

Sarah wrote a new song!! WOOO!!

It is true! =) After 3 years i helped her write a song and it came out preeetty badass! =) We're going to play for the 1st time May 15th @ Studio 7 in Seattle! I hope it gets filmed. It not only Sarah's FIRST headlining show BUT she is also having ME play drums for her. And not soft drums... Motherfucking PACO drums!! =) hahaha its gonna be fun as hell!! It's gonna be like the serious version of Tenacious D!! rocking "dave ghrol" style drums with sarah's great guitar playing and glorious voice!! hahah =) Im excited! =)

i know i shouldnt be. but i feel its been so long since ive played a shwo im started to lose it. like. im starting tolose the drive. The drive that kept me alive. =/ Without music im nothing, im not one, im not special. I cant live like this =(

Anyhow... I havent gone to sleep yet so idk if this counts for yesterday BUT....

this blog is just to say, chad and i just spend 4 and a half hours recording the ghost tracks and metronome/writing a new song. =) It's fucking epic. It is by FAR the most technical song, heaviest, more beautiful song ever written.... by our band anyway hahah

Day 7

I keep missing posts... sorry about that... i also keep forgetting to put pictures on here... sorry about that.... the picture i added today describes how i feel... ive actually been sick since the weekend. starting fridya when i lost my voice... then saturday i was feeling sik(cuerpo cortado) and the same everyday but now i have a runny nose and horrible cough.... yesterday i woke up, shwoered, went to work, worked on this new account which was... a fucking nightmare. i got thrown under the buss my a couple emoployees but ill leave details for that for tomorrow post, im nto wasting that material on this post, haha. Anyhow. Ive been really sick and i havent taken any medicine aside from my regular vitamin B i take every morning. But i guess i really should sgtart taking medicine as im not as cool i hoped to be and got better without medicine. Lame me.

Day 5

Ive missed like 3 days? i thinnk? anyhow, im shitting bricks right about now. Tomorrow at work i start a new project with another co-worker and we will be watched intensily our whole shift by our companie's CEO AND the CEO of the new agency we are working with!! Which honestly im pretty good at what i do but i am NOT feeling prepared for this new account. Training started a week ago, and the training was WEEK!! and im trying to do some reviews right now and i can't even concentrate. All i think about is sarah, and music, and getting a new drumset, and that Keeping Secrets had they're come back show today and that i hate them so fucking much cause such shit talking cunts and i want to play a show realllly bad and UGH!!! .... I need to get back to studying =(

Day 3(i missed day 2)

So i had a really shittie day today. =/ I'm getting overloaded @ work with extra shit i have to do because my manager KNOWS i can do a lot more than most people at the call center and i'm having to do so much shit it's not only hard but it's frustrating having to deal with people when your already in a bad mood, busy, annoyed, or just having a bad day. Not to mention i have to do a lot more than many people there and get paid the same, kinda.

I guess i've been really bummed today as well because i have blue balls. No because of sex, but because of music. It's been since August of 2010 since i last played a show. That's 8 FUCKING MONTHS@!!! hadkjshfakldhs UGH!!! I think i rather NOT have sex for that long than not play shows for such a lon time. It really DOES suck. Big time. I know in the end it will all be worth it but gosh man this journey is a tough one.

Aside from that i've been arguing a lot lately with my GF and it sucks to know that i can honestly say that i believe that a BIG part of the arguing, fights, or anything related to that is my fault. My temper is getting lame, i feel im becoming, cocky? maybe? IDK it sucks. And i hate it, and knowing that this is going on i suppose is good because i should be able to change it right? IDK but i think ive said enough. Damn emo paco. Grr.

Day 1! Monday April 11th, 2011

So i'll start by giving credit where it's due. Mari misses me and wanted me to make a blog so she can know what i do everyday of the year... LOL JK!! =) But really, Mari came up with this cool idea so that although so many of us, geli, chuy, myself, mari, brian, and everyone else live far from each other we can feel close to each other with the use of our great technology! =) Brilliant idea! Then some credit is due with chuy as well cause i had bheen delaying this because im lazy and didnt want to create an account and all that jazz but i did and weirdly enough im kind of excited about it! =)

So let's see... I'm currently at work doing the graveyard shift in which i don't do much which is great but still get paid a good chunk which is greater! Nothing beats money made easy =) I get out in 5(five) more hours at 10am and im excited to go to sleep!! Speciallllyyy becuase when i wake up i will be going to a concert in seattle! MEGA EXCITED ABOUT THAT! Today August Burns Red will grace us with their presence. Now if you don't know who ABR make sure to check them out! They are brilliant musicians! check out their music! google them! I addded a link to one of their many music videos!~ I love progressive tech Metal! =) It's GREAT!

Anyhow! I have so much going right now but i dont want to bore anyone with too much specially since we are JUST starting so. I'll leave this like that for the first blog, BUT if you read this blog let me know what you think of August Burns Red, good or bad. =) I look up to their drummer a lot and you might notice the his influence in my drumming =)
